How many pages does a small service business actually need?

One website template tells you to create fourteen pages. Another promises that one page is all anybody needs. Neither knows your business. The right number depends on how many decisions a visitor has to make. If you offer one clear service to one kind of person, a focused site may be enough. If people need to compare services, trust different kinds of proof or understand a method before they book, squeezing everything onto one long page usually makes the website feel simple only to its owner.

The signs your website needs more room

You don’t need pages for the sake of looking established. You need enough room for the right person to understand the work, trust you and know what to do next without digging.
